In memory of 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami in Japan, British artist Luke Jerram has made this beautiful “Tohoku Japanese Earthquake Sculpture”.

Jerram converted nine minutes of seismometer readings and employed a CAD program. Then it was 3D printed. The sculpture is 30cm x 20cm and it is on display at London's Jerwood Space during November 9 to December 11.

Over 400 pianos have been setting up in public gardens, streets and squares of big cities in the world, like New York, Sydney, London.
The pianos are available for anybody to play and enjoy. Many pianos are docorated by artists. In 2012, the artwork will be presented in San Juan (Puerto Rico), Los Angeles in April and Salt Lake City and more.
