Jan.24, 2012
A billion-plus Asians welcomed the Year of the Dragon on Monday. The Year of the Dragon is traditionally associated with China, Japan, Vietnam and several other countries.
According to Chinese astrology, the Dragon is the mightiest of the signs. The associated element for 2012 is water, therefore year 2012 is the Year of the Black Water Dragon - we don't know if the dragon is black because Dragon is considered having a mysterious color. Nevertheless Objet has just 3D printed a transparent dragon using Objet VeroClear material for celebrating the just arrived Chinese New Year.
Dragons symbolize a character as dominance and ambition, they are not afraid of challenges and willing to take risks. But dragon is also considered unpredictable. Chinese astrology says that we may see something unexpected in 2012 - does it include 3D printing industry?
