You could expect it, human creativity always follow certain patterns. Here comes "Grand Old Party", a set of sex toys made on a 3D printer.

Matthew Epler used data from Gallup's website and created line graphs that represent voter approval ratings amongst Republican voters for each GOP presidential candidates.

- The height is a measurement of time, beginning December 10, 2011 and ending on April 1, 2012 (bottom to top). The width of each object is the quantity by percentage (out of 100%) of approval for that candidate. All data comes directly from Gallup polls.

Then the line graphs was turned into 3D models in a 3D program Rhino and printed on a Zcorp Spectrum Z-510 3D printer. These prototypes were then sanded with sandpaper, painted with a high gloss paint and sealed with a shellac.

Epler made molds and filled with black mold silicone to make rubber duplicate of original 3D printed prototypes. For a detailed tutorial on the molding/casting process with a lot of photos, check out his blog post here.

For $350, you can get the entire set of Grand Old Party and each single piece costs $65, but for Perry or Bachmann it costs only $45 because their campaign is much shorter.

To add further to my previous comment - many many young engineers and students are getting involved with this technology this content is very innappropriate

Very poor taste - and unprofessional - such an important technology deserves to be treated seriously
