3D Artifex, a design company from the Netherlands reproduced a car bonnet badge from a 1938 English classic car Morris Eight with 3D printing.

A 3D drawing of the original 74-year-old part was first created in 3D CAD software. 3D Artifex printed the first prototype in Polyamide. The final design was then 3D-printed in bronze. Afterwards the Bronze 3D print was finished with chrome.

I think that is really cool. I wonder if one could do that but with a different insert? I think that would be neat but with the Smart logo as the insert. Perhaps one could creative with the insert?
