3D chocolate printer from Choc Edge became available to the masses back in April. The Choc Creator Version 1, as it's called, can be ordered at the price of £2,888 (about $4,680). The 3D chocolate printer can be broadly used to make creative, personalized and decorative chocolate products and gifts. Wanna a taste of what 3D printed chocolate is like? Or want something new and unique for this Christmas? Here is a chance: for this season, Choc Edge is promoting its new holiday designs: chocolate creations crafted using the latest 3D chocolate printing technology and made with the finest Belgian Callebaut chocolate.

Each Limited Edition features a unique canvas printed background rendered by our in-house artist, Cristina Ulander, and comes with free personalized text of your choosing and decorative stand.

Tomorrow, the 18th of December, is the last day Choc Edge takes order for the Limited Edition of the 3D printed chocolate. For £17.99 (about $29 USD) you can have a chocolate printed Christmas tree / bells/ snowman/ snowflake, a message card with artistic backing and a decorative stand for display. It is a unique gift for chocolate lovers and for friends and family.

Choc Edge was founded by Dr. Liang Hao from the University of Exeter. Recently it was invited by North One Television in the UK to be part of making a new primetime technology show "Gadget Man" hosted by Stephen Fry. The Choc Edge 3D printer was featured in the hi-tech dinner party and was used to create personalized chocolate portraits for the dinner guests.

I think these cards look really bad. I would rather send a box of chocolates or decorated cookies for the amount of money they charge ($29.95 USD). They look like they were made by children in kindergarten class. I expected a much higher quality product after all the years of research.
