Children's drawings are amazing, every kid is talented in making drawings. And often their drawing are so beautiful and you want to keep them for long. Now you can turn those drawings into awesome 3D printed figurines: Crayon Creatures is offering a 3D printing service that will bring kid's artwork to life with 3D printing technology.
How is it made?
Basically, Crayon Creatures inflate the drawing in modeling software - they define the contour lines, create a plane where they project the drawing as a texture, then extrude it, and finally apply some pressure physics to soften the shape.
The figurines are 3D-printed in full-color sandstone material, which is hard, slightly brittle and rigid. The printed product is around 10cm / 4 inches.
