Children's drawings are amazing, every kid is talented in making drawings. And often their drawing are so beautiful and you want to keep them for long. Now you can turn those drawings into awesome 3D printed figurines: Crayon Creatures is offering a 3D printing service that will bring kid's artwork to life with 3D printing technology.

How is it made?

Basically, Crayon Creatures inflate the drawing in modeling software - they define the contour lines, create a plane where they project the drawing as a texture, then extrude it, and finally apply some pressure physics to soften the shape.

The figurines are 3D-printed in full-color sandstone material, which is hard, slightly brittle and rigid. The printed product is around 10cm / 4 inches.

The figurines is suitable for home and office decorations, but not suited to be used as toys or to be given to underage children.

What you need to do is to snap a photo of your kid's drawing and upload it. Your figurine will be uniquely designed and printed on a 3D printer. The cost is €99 + €15 for shipping. And in three weeks the 3D printed figurines will be delivered straight to your door.
