Since Thingiverse user "kongrorilla" created this cool low poly papercraft mask for Halloween 2012, many maker have created their own low poly mask using materials other than paper.
When BusyBotz prepared for their presence at the Houston Mini Maker Faire on January 19th, 2013, he wanted to bring something large and impressive. He found the low poly mask so awesome he decided to 3D print one out. The 3D models he downloaded from Thingiverse was a printable 3D version of the low poly papercraft mask made by The3DLibrary.
BusyBotz's low polygon mask was printed in blue ABS on a MendelMax 1.5 3D printer. It weighs about 200grams and total print time was 5 hours 30 minutes, with 3 perimeters, 10% rectilinear infill and .3mm layer height. The heated bed was set to 105C, and the extruder was 228C.
