Psychobob, creator of 3D printed Atlas co-op bot, has a lot of experience creating awesome 3D models of game characters and pieces. His Atlas from Portal 2 impressed us with all the amazingly details. Now Psychobob is back with another new 3D printed project, something a little different this time: the Sentry guns from Team Fortress 2.

The idea Psychobob has come up with on this project is actually that the gun can be upgraded from level 1. The sentry is split up into 3 separate "products" and just like in the game, you can't build a level 3 gun without first building/upgrading the previous leveled guns. Psychobob has designed it so none of the gun requires glue to assemble so you can always be able to upgrade later by adding an upgrade pack.

For raising funds for his next project, Psychobob is selling this model on Shapeways. All the models come unpainted and Psychobob shows you on his blog how he painted and applied the finishes to the parts.

In the video below Psychobob demonstrates how to assemble the gun and how to change it into the 3 different leveled sentry guns.

Seems pretty expensive for a small thing, but if you're a total TF2 fan like me its worth adding to your collection. Steam - SKYFALL 000

How big it is? A soda can is not a perfect mesurment.

Could it be a bit cheaper? It's a really good model, but for around 62 dollars to buy a level 3 sentry for it to be as big as a soda can, its pretty expensive. I'm only saying this because I want to buy it, but I'm not sure if the price is worth it.

What printer model was used to create the pieces?
