In a 3D world two-dimensional images limit the customer experience. Especially for 3D professionals, it is difficult for them to express their 3D art in a 2D images.
Aiming to be a virtual showroom for designers and artists to show up their great work, Cubize, designed by Italian Aerospace engineer Giorgio Pagliara, is a sharing and display platform where anyone from everywhere can share and view three-dimensional models.
Cubize is exactly like YouTube where, instead of video, users share 3D models.
Users can browse pages to explore most popular 3D models sorted by category, popularity, or selected user. When you open a 3D model you can play with it with Cubize's 3D player, or add tags, leave your comments and share it.
3D artists and designers can create their own portfolio in Cubize, and upload their 3D models directly on any website or social network. Their resellers or fans can easily share or embed these models on their web site, blog or facebook page.
You can edit your uploaded 3D models not only by changing name, description, image and category, but also reposition your 3D objects by rotating, translating or scaling each single 3D object in your model. In addition You can change color, shininens, reflectivity and opacity of your 3D objects materials.
If you are a premium user (120€/year) you can also customize 3D player by adding up background or a real environment for every single model, add textures and create different scenes on your model.
