3D Systems (NYSE:DDD) just launched its new ProJet x60 series of full color 3D printers with an ability to print 90% of the colors available in Adobe Photoshop and new VisiJet PXL materials.
Using 3D Systems' exclusive ColorJet Printing (CJP) technology, these x60 series of full color 3D printers allows you to print out beautifully detailed assemblies, full-color models and precision verification parts.
And the new ProJet x60 3D printers also feature faster print mode options, improved user convenience with mobile connectivity using tablet computers and smartphones, and more powerful coloring and file preparation software tools.
There are 6 new ProJet printer models:
ProJet 160 – compact size, monochrome printing
- Monochrome white prints with minimum features down to 0.4mm (0.016 inches)
Vertical print speeds up to 20mm (0.8 inches) per hour
Net Build Area of 236 x 185 x 127 mm (9.3 x 7.3 x 5 inches)
Unused build material recyclable for low waste cost efficient operation
ProJet 260C– compact size, full color printing
- 64 color prints with minimum features down to 0.4mm (0.016 inches)
Vertical print speeds up to 20mm (0.8 inches) per hour
Net Build Area of 236 x 185 x 127 mm (9.3 x 7.3 x 5 inches)
Unused build material is recyclable for low waste cost efficient operation
ProJet 360 – medium size, monochrome printing
- Monochrome white prints with minimum features down to 0.15mm (0.006 inches)
Vertical print speeds up to 20mm (0.8 inches) per hour
Net Build Area of 203 x 254 x 203 mm (8 x 10 x 8 inches)

ProJet 460Plus – medium size, high-quality full color printing

They do not give prices...they make you wait days for someone to contact you to sell you one from a local distributor...their business model from this aspect sucks.
