Munich, Germany based startup Trindo has created TrindoCase, a individualized 3D printed smartphone case.
TrindoCase allows you to design you own cases using its online Configurator. You can generate new forms using all functions of this simple drawing software, such as pencil, circle, spline, eraser and text. This online Configurator is still under development and scheduled to be online in August 2013. Here is a screenshot.
All TrindoCases are 3d printed using high quality plastic powder. Using special treatments, the surface of the 3D printed part is then being smoothened and colored. The processing allows for great haptic and makes the surface dirt-repellent and UV-light resistant.
The bumper protects the weakest spot of your smartphone, the edges by very small ridges in the corners.
A special clipping system enables you to fashion the back of your smartphone new day after day. The clip can be switched without having to take the bumper off.
Trindo has designed different sorts of clips to add functional abilities to your phone. For example, the wallet clip allows you to store your ID, drivers licence, credit cards, etc on the back of your smartphone. It can hold up to 4 cards.
You can place your phone in portrait and landscape at different angles with the multi-angle standclip.
Or you can stick your phone to metallic surfaces with the magnetic clip.
And you can choose your favourite cities and clip them to your smartphone.
Thickness of a case varies from model to model and from clip to clip, for your reference an IPhone 4 case has a thickness of max. 1,8mm including the clip.
Trindo has launched 3D printed TrindoCase on Indiegogo seeking for 30.000 € funds for covering the expenses of developing online configurator, equipment cost for post processing and expenses of prototypes. For 20€ you can be one of the first supporter and get the standard edition at a super early bird price. Check all the details here on Indiegogo.

I've been thinking about getting a Windows 8 The problem is the battery life. So I realized that if I could find a battery about the same size tablet and 3-D print case where I could slide in battery that would solve my issues. Is there any way you could help me out?
