Nancy Liang and Aaron Barnet, founders of figurine creator, Mixee Me, has just launched a web app platform Mixee Labs where designers can create interactive models of their products for consumers to customize.

With each web app, or "creator," Mixee Labs enables anyone to create unique objects without knowing how to model. Working with Shapeways, Mixee Labs manufactures these objects on-demand using 3D printing and ship directly to the customers.

As part of the launch, Mixee is featuring Quark Jewelry by Stijn van der Linden of the studio Virtox. Quark Jewelry's innovative design draws on the intricate movements of subatomic particles. Here is the link to the template for you to start with.

You can also find Knotty Ring and Wave Bracelet by NeuralFirings, as well as Mixee Me Figurines that Mixee Labs launched in November 2012.

Initially Mixee Lab's platform uses JavaScript, a complementary platform is under development for 3D modelers who don't know how to code.

Each product is 3D printed on demand, and takes around 2 weeks to produce. Check out here the "creators" and start designing now.
