3D Systems continues to make acquisitions in the 3D printing community, and this time it buys U.K.'s CRDM.

On Tuesday 3D Systems announced that it has acquired CRDM, Ltd., a UK provider of rapid prototyping and rapid tooling services for automotive, aerospace, medical device and motorsports applications, including F1.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 3D Systems (DDD) says CRDM's services will be integrated into its Quickparts Solutions custom parts/manufacturing services.

3D Systems has been willing to expand its European presence and this acquisitions will help extend the company's reach in the U.K. direct manufacturing industry. In June the company acquired French 3D printer maker Phenix Systems.
