ROKIT Inc., the leading desktop 3D printer manufacturer in Korea announced that it has sighed an agreement with SK Telecom, the largest mobile telecommunications company in the country to provide its 3D printers to 100 SKT's shops in Seoul and metropolitan area. As part of the agreement, SKT store locations will be equipped with 3DISON 3D printers and SKT will organize more events to attract customers and promote the technology.

SKT's latest event "My Smartphone Case is the Only One in the World" was launched as a test program last month in 10 shops in Seoul and Gyunggi area. Customers who want to have their very own case can download the 3D file of mobile phone case via website "Youniverse", ROKIT's newly launched 3D printing platform. Customers can personlize their mobile phone case with desired words or initial letters. They can also add hand writing letters or even their own photos in the design and then have it printed on a 3DISON 3D printer.

Mr. Seok-Hwan You, CEO of ROKIT Inc. said: "3D printing was mainly used in industrial segment in the past. The partnership with SKT shows that it's time for 3D printing to get the attention of the average consumer. Other industries have shown great interests in 3D printing as well." He expects their 3D printer are likely more frequently to appear on the shelves of other major stores in the country.
