Airwolf 3D today introduced its latest 3D printer, the AW3D HD-R, to its award winning line-up of desktop 3D printers for the professional market. The HD-R features a high-resolution dual head printing, Wi-Fi connectivity, innovative 'cloud-based' printing via an 8 inch tablet interface, and a rigid aluminum backbone.
The HD-R offers 'cloud-based' slicing, file storage and management, and multi-unit control via its intuitive integrated software based on the AstroPrint 3D Printing platform.

With its standard Wi-Fi capability, users can print remotely from a smart phone, desktop computer, or tablet device and the HD-R has also the ability to add a camera for remote viewing of print jobs. Additionally the new printer also features the aluminum frame backbone, build envelope of 1,056 cubic inches (11"x8"x12"), and high print resolution.

Airwolf 3D also announces a new development partnership with 3DaGoGo, the developer of the all-in-one cloud 3D printing software platform AstroPrint. In addition to supporting the development of the HD-R, Airwolf 3D worked with 3DaGoGo to offer existing customers a Wi-Fi upgrade kit called WolfWare based on the AstroPrint Platform.
Beginning immediately, Airwolf 3D will be taking pre-orders for the HD-R and the WolfWare Wi-Fi kits. The HD-R has a suggested retail price of $4595, while WolfWare has a suggested retail price of $249.
