3D printer-maker 3D Systems said Wednesday that John N. McMullen will join the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, pulling him from the same position at Eastman Kodak Co. The move is effective July 1, 2016.
Elected by the Board of Directors and reporting to President & CEO Vyomesh Joshi, McMullen succeeds David Styka in the CFO role. Styka will remain with the 3D printer company to "provide operational and financial support to Management,” according to the 3D Systems release announcing the move.
McMullen spent 32 years at HP and its acquired companies, Compaq Computer and Digital Equipment Corporation. His positions included Senior Vice President of Finance and Corporate Treasurer of HP, Chief Financial Officer of HP's Imaging and Printing Group, and Vice President of Finance and Strategy for Compaq's Worldwide Sales and Services Group. After that, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Kodak.
Kodak said it had promoted David Bullwinkle to its vacated CFO position. Mr. Bullwinkle joined Kodak in 2004 and has worked in several financial management roles at the company since then.
