PP3DP has released the "platform suit", which is a possible solution in the model warping problems. As a lot of 3D printer operators experienced, that certain shapes and sizes of ABS plastic prints often curl when the print proceeds, especially when edges are thin. PP3DP therefore has made several updates.
1. A upgraded spring, replaced the M3 washers, which increases the height between the platform and the X axis, allows small clips to hold the perfboard and clips do not touch the arm, also allows much more freedom and precision in leveling the platform. If the platform is calibrated horizontally, it can help reduce the warping problem to some extend.
2. There are four holes on each corner of the platform V2.0 and perfboard. The perfboard can be fixed on the new platform through four flat M3 screws. The clips are additional parts to make the board attached better on the platform.
3. The perfboard is already cut at 45 degrees angle with the edge, and just fits the size of the platform V 2.0. When printing starts, plastic will have more chance to be pushed into all perforations, and this provides a stronger mechanical bond with the bottom surface that prevents it from later lifting.
