The Nóize Chairs developed by Studio Guto Requena are based on the design "the Oscar by Sergio Rodrigues, the São Paulo by Carlos Motta and the Giraffe by Lina Bo Bardi, Marcelo Ferraz and Marcelo Suzuki." The goal of Studio Guto Requena is to reflect the cyberculture and poetic narratives in digital design.

Designers at Studio Guto Requena used audio captured on the streets of São Paulo to distort the shapes of original design. The 3D models of the chairs were 3D printed with ABS plastic in Belgium on 3D printers.

Guto Requena is the studio's creative director and also an architect. He studies cyberculture and the impact of new technologies in architecture and design and has a Masters degree on Architecture & Urban Planning from the University of Sao Paulo.
