The possibilities of 3D printing technology are endless, here are some nice infographics made by industrial experts explaining 3D printing and how it works.
Tuan TranPham, from Objet Inc., shared a Matrix of industrial 3D Players in the 3D printing world.
Earlier, 3D printing service company Scuplteo proposed a 3D printing infographic that gives a general picture of the cost of 3D printers, industry growth, the evolution of 3D printing and 3D printing applications in food industry, medical science and research, consumer and manufacturing industries.
Recently the folks at HighTable.com have also created a very basic visual explanation about 3D printing. How does 3D printing work? What kind of materials does it utilize? How big the market is expected to grow? (Click to enlarge)
