PlayStation Home is an online community developed by Sony Computer Entertainment's London Studio for the PlayStation 3 on the PlayStation Network. Home allows users to travel throughout the Home world and to create a custom avatar. Users can dress their avatars and decorate its home with various items for free or for a small amount of fee. Home features many single and multi-player mini-games that users can shop for or win new items to further customise their avatar or apartments.
This week VEEMEE, the creator of No Man's Land, a multiplayer third-person tactical shooter, is introducing the latest trendy and awesome new addition to Home users: A 3D Printer using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) technology.
Bring your PlayStation®Home personal space bang up to date with the laser-driven technical marvel that is the VEEMEE 3D Printer.
No more (virtual) trips to the (virtual) mall for (the virtual) you. Instead you can stay at home and manufacture a wide variety of (virtual) items in the comfort of any personal space. Hologram Chair, Beast Companion, Ninja Throwing Stars, Seagull Hat or... Feet for Hands..? All these and more can be printed out in a few seconds for you and your friends.
Keep coming back to your 3D Printer to see if anyone has bought gifts for you, and to check out the regular updates and promotions.
The 3D Printer will be updated with new items available to create. For a start you will be rewarded your very own free 3D Printer with 50 free vouchers. You can now starting creating cool items with cutting-edge, three-dimensional printing technology.
VEEMEE 3D printer will be available in PlayStation®Home from 8th May 2013.
