A new bulletin from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security warns that it could be "impossible" to stop 3D-printed guns from being made.
"Significant advances in three-dimensional (3D) printing capabilities, availability of free digital 3D printer files for firearms components, and difficulty regulating file sharing may present public safety risks from unqualified gun seekers who obtain or manufacture 3D printed guns," warns the bulletin compiled by the Joint Regional Intelligence Center, reported by Fox News. "Limiting access may be impossible," concludes the bulletin.
The memo also discusses the scenario that the removal of all metallic parts from 3D guns would easily get them past any security checkpoints."Though it is prohibited by federal law, manufacturers may deliberately omit the unnecessary metal insert, leaving only a small nail and ammunition as the sole metal component. Future designs could further reduce or eliminate metal entirely," it reads.
"This is a serious threat," One law enforcement source told Fox News. "These could defeat magnetometers. The only security procedure to catch [the 3D firearms] is a pat down. Is America ready for pat-downs at every event?"

It seems that only the criminals are allowed guns now, they don't have to obey the law, but who is the criminal element when the law overrides the Constitution?

Why would you wanna ban guns in the first place, if we have this technology, would you want to ban guns now? Would you want to push everyone to disarm themselves from the people who pull the trigger in the wrong and most absolute way now? If you do, then your suffering from Mal-nutrition of the brain. And also the fact that replicators are real, and we're not utilizing this at a mass scale. really. really. guys I want people to really think, cause if its all about the money, then please, find a way to go and eat money. Find a way to make that paper build buildings without the use of tools, but only paper. And after you do that, find a way to make it fire proof, weather proof, and make it find a way to give birth to children...oh wait, money cant do that, WE the people of earth do.
