CGTrader and Staples announced on Friday Staples 3D Printing Challenge, as the Office supply chain officially opened its 3D printing service in Europe.

The challenge involves creating printable 3D models prepared for Mcor printer and Staples offers 1000 euro for the winner as well as an opportunity to sell your design at Staples.

The models should be specially made for MCor Iris True Color 3D printer which prints 3D object layer by layer on paper sheets. The best models, made for this challenge, will be made available for buyers in Staples MyEasy3D store.

The competition is open to everyone. There are 3 simple steps you need to take to participate in this challenge – create a printable 3D model, upload it to CGTrader and upload to Staples myeasy3D store.

Awards & Prizes

  • Winner - 1000 EUR in cash and a 12 months free Designer subscription (valued at 900 EUR) at Staples MyEasy3D store and CGTrader's T-shirt.
  • 1st runner-up - 6-month free Designer subscription (valued at 450 EUR) at Staples MyEasy3D store and CGTrader's T-shirt.
  • 2nd runner up – 3-month free Designer subscription (valued at 225 EUR) at Staples MyEasy3D store and CGTrader's T-shirt.

Staples 3D Printing Challenge will run from the 25th of September, 2013, to the 21st of October, 2013.
