All the bigger brands within Tabletop gaming have their own miniatures. Why? Because those pre-colored plastic or metal fantasy miniatures just look extremely cool! Canadian company ArcanEngine is developing a platform that will let you build a miniature exactly as you want and then get it 3D printed.

You start by looking around in ArcanEngine's library of 3D pieces for the body pose, weapons, armour, accessories and pick your favourites. Using a simple app you can organically fit those pieces together exactly the way you want them. Once you're happy with the digital version of your mini, you can either share it online, or download the file and print it yourself. You can also order it 3D printed, in a couple weeks your one-of-a-kind miniature will be shipped right to your doorstep.

ArcanEngine was conceived by Zach Hill, a 3D artist-turned-media producer from Vancouver. The idea behind the ArcanEngine is to develop a website that not only lets Tabletop gamers build and print their own minaitures, but also allows 3D artists to design, upload and sell their creations.

Zach Hill is seeking funds for ArcanEngine project on Kickstarter. To know more about this project check out his Kickstarter campaign here.
