Cobra Beer announced today the launch of the 'Cobra Diversification Division' marketing campaign, encouraging fans to come up with ideas about any items that they would like the team to create using a 3D printer.

When you've made an impossibly smooth beer like Cobra, you have to ask yourself "what else is possible?"


The Cobra Diversification Division (CDD) has been established to investigate the hypothetical possibility of potentially making something that theoretically isn't beer. What would Cobra be like if it was a car? Or a pair of trousers? Or a chandelier?

The CDD team is inviting all fans to answer these questions. "If we think it's got potential, we will make a prototype in a 3D printer and send to you for testing." says the team. "If that works, we might turn it into a full size working thing."

Andy Cray, director of brands at Molson Coors, said: "We'd like to hear, and have some fun with, ideas on other products that could benefit from a Cobra-esque dedication to impossible smoothness."

The campaign asks fans to leave suggestions on Cobra's Facebook page. Watch the video below:
