You can now design and customize coins and key chains with browser based Versoteq Tailor software and get your creation 3D printed. Versoteq 3D Solutions Oy, a Finnish company focused on 3D printing and scanning is launching a browser based application for making customized products with 3D printing.
Their first line of products include coins and key chains with different colors and surfaces. All products can be printed using nylon plastics in different colors. Besides plastics, the coins can also be printed in stainless steel with different surface treatment such as gold plating. The coins have two sizes available: 2.5 cm and 4.0 cm in diameter. The key chains include two different designs: Simple Tag and Oval Tag, both are provided with metallic key ring.
During the designing process, users will be able to visualize in the browser how the product will look like when 3D printed. They can also add their own images and text live and see the result instantly. The software automatically adjusts the 3D model so that the accuracy matches the 3D printing capabilities. After the order is placed the product will be fabricated and delivered to the user.
