Curious about those flashing, colorful bracelets worn by other concert-goers? Now you can make your own. The video below shows you how to make a LED wristband for walking outside at night so people can see you. It's a 3D printed flexible wristband with motion-activated LEDs.
The armband was printed on a desktop 3D printer using strong and flexible NinjaFlex filament. To make this project you will need these parts: Flora, NeoPixel Ring 16, JST extension, rechargeable battery, accelerometer, slide switch.
You can take the LED wristband with you to any night time activity whether it be as a safety device or an extra bright fashion accessory. For example, you can strap it onto your bike for increased visibility or keep it on your wrist for an evening run.
