Have a look at this cool 3D printed skull sculpture that can stretch like a slinky. At first glance, it looks like solid pieces made of white nylon plastic. But when you pull them you see it is actually stretchable.
The sculpture is called Mortal Coil, its designer ryankittleson explains:
"For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil"
It's a sculpture. It's a toy. It's just deathly fun to play with.
The Mortal Coil is designed in Zbrush and printed at Shapeways using 'White Strong & Flexible' with a matte finish and slight grainy feel. It is priced at €67.14 and available in white and black color (€76.10).
