3d printing is changing the way we invent, create and manufacture products and Project3dprint wants to be a part of it. New Zealand based company Project3dprint has just launched a new 3d printing website which allows users to download and create useful everyday electronic gadgets and print them at home.
Users can print and build their own electronic gadgets in 3 easy steps:
1. Project3dprint offers the STL files of their designs on thingiverse.com for users to freely download and print at home.
2. Users can then purchase the related electronics kit that goes inside the 3d printed part(s) from project3dprint's website. The kits are sent via free global economy shipping.
3. The users can then watch an easy to follow video on instructables.com which shows how to assemble the electronics kit and printed parts together. The videos also give tips on 3d printing the parts.
Once assembled the user has an actual electronic product that they have created for themselves to use.
USB backup powerbank
The site has uploaded two 3D print projects to get you started. One is a USB backup powerbank to charge all your electronic gadgets on the go and another is a USB powered portable laptop cooling pad. "We will be adding multiple projects every month." said James Kells of Project3dprint.

"We believe that owning a 3d printer is an investment and we want owners to maximise on their investment. Currently there is no one in the 3d printing community that offers such 3d models that can be downloaded and created by owners." Kells explained.
