Printrbot has released info on the latest Go V2 3D printers. The Printrbot GO comes fully assembled and has three different sizes: Go Small, Go Medium and Go Large.

All three models have a Raspberry Pi on board loaded with Octoprint and are battery ready. All will have 12mm bars all around, lots of machined aluminum & glass print beds. The medium and large have dual x, y & z motors.

The nice thing about Printrbot Go is that they can all be folded up, making them great for storage. The Go Small can fit into a carry on Pelican case perfectly so you can take it with you.

The Printrbot Go Small has a single extruder and a build volume of 8" x 6" x 6" (203 x 152 152 mm), the price is $1299 (€933, £782).

The Printrbot Go Medium has a dual extruder and a build volume of 16" x 8" x 8" (406 x 203 x 203 mm), and it includes Extrudrboard, an add on to the Printrboard that provides two additional colors and/or materials. The Go Medium is priced at $1499 (€1,077, £902).

The Printrbot Go Large has triple extruders and a build volume of 24" x12" x12" (610 x 305 x 305 mm). It has all the features of Go Medium and is priced at $1699 (€1,220, £1,022).

I was speaking about the go large when i said "Nice price point" also, the triple extruders, 12mm bars are a big plus. Finally RasperberryPi and WIFI and you think the price point is bad? compared to what? what are the specs, and the support? I am not saying they are giving it away, but for a printer with 24" x12" x12" (610 x 305 x 305 mm) build volume?? My only issue is the build plate not being heated. (I am a ABS 99% of the time printer). I stand by my original statement, i think the pricepoint is pretty decent. I have seen a bunch of cheap printers announced but I see little positive user experience stories on these. Lots that are cheaper and if you like to tinker etc, great. I personally prefer desigining and printing.

No heated bed for this price? Shame it looked good otherwise =(

I wonder how much the big one weighs? You'd probably build some arm muscles hauling that beast and three rolls of filament around. Plus I wonder how difficult it is to re-level the build platform every time you set the thing up.

the large models build volume (24" height) is bananas who ever says they dont want one of these at this price has a lack of imagination

These are hugely expensive!

Nice price point?! I was thinking the exact opposite, there appears to be little price insentive to buy the Go Small over the Go Large... just get the large.

Nice price point I think they will be a big hit.
