Celebrity modder, Ben Heck, has come up with another cool creation. This time he cracks open the PlayStation4 controller and hacks it for single-handed use so those with a disability can still play video games with only one hand.
The controller is designed for right-handed individuals because, "that's the most common request," Heck said. All the controller's left buttons have been shifted and re-fitted on the right side, including the left analog stick, which was put on the back of the unit. Heck called his newly-modded controller the Accessibility Controller for PS4.
The single-handed Xbox One controller will be given to one of his viewers. For more information about how Heck created the Accessibility Controller, check out the video below. He discusses how his controller mods have evolved with the help of his 3-D printer, goes over the soldering and wiring, hot-glue 3D-printed parts and how to tackle the analogue trigger.
