Fouche Chocolates, a company in Centurion, South Africa is producing chocolates and cake decorations with 3D printing. Hans Fouche, owner of Fouche Chocolates, has built his own 3D printers to create intricate, three-dimensional chocolates sculptures. With his engineering background, he builds or customises almost every machine in his workshop.
Fouche's latest development, a giant 3D printer is the size of his garage. The printer can print out enormous designs, even the entire frame for a RepRap Morgan, htxt.africa reports.
According to Fouche, it only took seven and a half hours to print the entire Morgan frame in three parts. The giant 3D printer includes a 3 mm nozzle, Fouche says it is even capable of printing out objects direct from ABS granules. This lawn mower wheel below was printed using ABS granules and it took only one hour to complete.
"What I like about about 3d Printing.... you can have your new improved models, one day later, ready for testing again," says Fouche.
The machines has printed out all kinds of stuff, such as ladies shoes, flip flops, filament reel, shelves, and even a briefcase. Fouche's goal is to one day commercialise the design, enabling designers and makers to build large-scale and more complex parts.

This is great! I hope Stratasys is working on having two nozzle sizes, one for features and one for volume.

Straight from pellet is the most exciting thing I read here! Bigger= more "real world" applications ..... Looks like he has a loooong way to go before that thing is commercial.
