Last Thursday (Oct.9, 2014) iGo3D, the first 3D printer store in Germany opened its first retail store for 3d printing in Stuttgart city center. The 71 square meters space is filled with 3D Printers from Ultimaker, Builder, Be3D, Felix and Beeverycreative. iGo3D offers visitors to the new shopping center 'Milaneo' the whole range of digital manufacturing experience.
The startup was founded in the summer of 2013. It opened its first 3D printing store last September in Oldenburg, Southwest down the E22 from Hamburg. Now the company has 25 employees and its third iGo3D retail store will be launched at the end of October in Frankfurt.
The new stores are modeled after the first iGo3D concept store in Oldenburg. All iGo3D's retail stores offer Full-body-scanning and a whole range of 3D-printing products, including 3D scanners, 3D printers, consumables, accessories and software.
According to CEO Michael Sorkin, iGo3D will also open its retail stores in Hannover & Hamburg in February/March 2015. International expansion plans include the establishment of sales offices in the Netherlands and Portugal. And iGo3D has already set up its branches in Poland and Russia.
