You made WHAT with your 3D printer? New lifestyle. Thingiverse user Jonathan Schwartz, a product manager at 3D printer manufacturer MakerBot, has recently created an awesome piece of 3D printed T-Rex Shower Head which can fit on any standard 1/2" shower head pipe.
It took around 16 hours to print this outstanding piece in PLA plastic. He used 50% infill setting while printing to prevent leaking. Teflon tape was used for a good seal between the pipe and the head. Schwartz also recommends adding a swiveling adapter if you want to be able to move the head around.
The files for it is available for download for free from MakerBot's Thingiverse. Download and print your own in any brightly colored plastic of your choice. The T-Rex shower head model is also available in two different versions: one for narrower shower streams, another is for more spread streams.
He's also shared a design for a swivel-ready vortex showerhead to remind us that 3D printers are going to change our lifestyle.

Does the hot humid air of a shower have enough heat to soften the PLA? Hmmmmmm
