As far as massively multiplayer online role-playing games go, Blizzard’s World of Warcraft (WoW) is easily the most extensive and well-known, with 7 million players worldwide, and some of the most well-crafted and designed characters to be found. To bring the most intricate details of these characters to life as high quality, full-color 3D printed models, FabZat and FigurePrints have partnered up and been named as the exclusive European providers of 3D printed figures for the World of Warcraft Franchise.

FigurePrints works directly with gamers and consumers, recreating WoW characters and Minecraft designs as fully detailed, custom 3D printed figures, using 3D modeling techniques pioneered by special effects houses and manufacturing technology that allows even the most complicated models to be created. They offer Transmog support, legendary weapon selection and complete name customization. In partnering with French company FabZat, who provides in-app personalized merchandizing for game developers and publishers such as Blizzard, they will be able to offer dedicated players custom 3D printed figured shipped anywhere in the EU through FabZat’s services.

FabZat's in-app workflow for game developers

Players can personalize their figures with their player name and even outfit them with same gear they possess in the game through the FigurePrints website. The characters are then 3D printed by FabZat in full-color sandstone using 3D Systems’ Color Jet Printing (CJP) technology to ensure high-quality and authentic products. Fabzat also boasts a proprietary formula of chemical hardeners, inks for the best rendering, and varnishing specially designed for sandstone materials. The finished 3D printed models will cost from €69.96 to €129.95 depending on the size and level of customization.

“We provide UE fans of the World of Warcraft franchise with customizable on-demand 3D printing of the characters they love from the game,” said Floren Pitoun, FabZat CEO and co-founder. “It’s this focus on quality and attention to detail that has made us the preferred choice for industry-leading game publishers.” Ed Fries, CEO of FigurePrints, confirmed their dedication to providing the best service possible with the help of FabZat: “We’re focused on enabling players to bring the World of Warcraft characters to life, and now we can offer a greater level of service through our parnership with FabZat. After reviewing several European companies in this space, we felt that FabZat would be the right partner due to their outstanding reputation for fast delivery times, unmatched quality and seamless import experience.”

Given the huge community of WoW players, and the fact that they are often attached to their online avatar, spending hours every day with them and building them up to the status of virtual heroes, it makes sense to immortalize them in the most detailed, high-quality manner possible. The exclusive models made by FigurePrints, FabZat, and 3D printing technology will make for more than just impressive shelf displays, they’ll bring your favorite WoW characters to life.

These are not accurate, they should have mismatched sets of armor because they are waiting for DKP points to finish the build. Unfortunately, everyone that could help them have all their tier pieces and don't want to run the instance that would finish their set. They look good though
