SHINING3D, a 3D printing and 3D scanning solutions company based in Hangzhou, China, has announced the opening of its European Headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany. The new HQ, known as SHINING3D EMEA, has already kicked off its operations with the launch of a new generation of EinScan 3D scanners, which includes the EinScan-SE (Elite) and the EinScan-SP (Platinum).

SHINING3D EMEA will provide a sales, support, and innovation center for the European, Middle Eastern, and African markets, helping to expand SHINING3D’s global reach and explore new markets for its 3D scanning and 3D printing products. Up until now, SHINING3D’s sales within the EMEA region have been managed exclusively by the company’s official network of distributors.

The opening marks a strategic move on the part of SHINING3D to tap into the European 3D printing market. The company is also hoping that its new Germany-based headquarters will help to accelerate the introduction of its 3D scanning and printing products to the global market.

“Our innovative, world class 3D scanning and 3D printing solutions, including the new EinScan-SE and EinScan-SP models that we are also launching today, have been globally recognized for their quality and reliability,” commented Oscar Meza, VP of global sales at SHINING3D. “With the opening of the new EMEA office in Germany, our goal is to build a solid sales infrastructure and provide our clients with qualified local customer support and advanced training capabilities.”

As mentioned, SHINING3D EMEA has already launched its first products: the Einscan-SE and Einscan-SP 3D scanners. The two 3D scanners are the latest in SHINING3D’s Einscan-S desktop 3D scanner series, which is known for its high scanning speeds and accuracy.

According to the company, the new Einscan-SP is capable of capturing single scans in under four seconds and 360° scans in less than a minute. In terms of its scanning accuracy, the Einscan-SP boasts a maximum single shot accuracy below 50 microns, while the Einscan-SE has one below 100 microns.

Both new 3D scanning systems also integrate a “one-click” feature which allows users to easily upload scans to third party data sharing platforms. This feature, which includes automatic alignment and automatic mesh generation, enables users to 3D print their scanned models directly.

Currently, the company holds submissions for 64 utility patents for inventions, 54 utility model patents, 27 appearance patents, and 55 software copyright submissions.
