Dutch 3D printing firm Felix Printers has recently launched its latest printer, the Pro 1, which boasts fully automatic levelling, smart sensors and a detachable print bed.
Felix’s latest 3D printer has been designed with simplicity and convenience in mind. Its fully automatic calibration means that users can dive right into their first print, with automatic nozzle adjustment and print bed levelling ensuring smooth, error-free printing. The 3D printer also comes equipped with filament flow detection, for monitoring the flow of filament and preventing failure by pausing the print when necessary, as well as intelligent nozzles for the evasion of potential collisions. The Pro 1’s fully detachable print bed allows for easy access and removal of the 3D print. The machine's full metal hot-ends are durable and versatile, suitable for 3D printing with a variety of materials.
For those interested in purchasing Felix Printers’ Pro 1, the company offers “six guarantees of support”: a lifetime support service, regular upgrades, a 1 year warranty, quick delivery, UPS insured shipment, and a 14 day refund period. The company is also planning to release expansions for the model, such as covers to create a closed printing room, a dedicated WiFi add-on and 0.5mm nozzles in addition to the current 0.35mm ones.
The Pro 1 3D printer, which has been on the market since September, is available for €2,150 excl. VAT. The company has released a promotional video, shown at the bottom of the page, which demonstrates the features and general operation of the Pro 1.
