Yokohama-based Japanese company Opencube is developing a 3D printer which is set to launch on July 29, 2013.

The 3D printer "Scoovo C170" is manufactured in Japan. It has a max. build size of 175 × 150 × 150 mm and is designed to be a low-cost, environment friendly 3D printer for Japanese market. Scoovo C170 uses smart aluminum slide rails and has a robust case made of 1.2mm-thick chromium-free steel sheet.

The C170 3D printer has free one-year warranty and is provided with Japanese instruction manual and SCOOVO software in Japanese for domestic users.
