Chinese company QSQM Corporation has launched a new DLP 3D printer crowd-funding campaign on Indiegogo. DLP Projector based printers have been gaining in popularity in the last few years. Utilizing the same kind of projector often used for PowerPoint presentations, DLP 3D printer is capable of turning liquid into finely detailed objects. The projector shines on the surface of a liquid plastic resin that hardens when exposed to a certain wavelength of light. The light draws and hardens a layer at a time until the entire model is built.
This Uncia (QS-1) DLP 3D printer developed by QSQM team features full metal frame and can print layers as thin as 100 microns (0.004 in) in a build volume of 102 x 77 x 180 mm (4.02 x 3.03 x 7.09 in). According to the company, it takes 3~6 seconds to print each 0.1mm layer at a time. QSQM has designed its Uncia software that streamlines the process of importing .STL models and even sliced JPG images.
Technical Specifications:
- Building Volume: 102x77x180mm (4.02x 3.03x7.09 in)

In 2012, QSQM corporation launched 3D Printing department, focusing on developing high-end desktop 3D printers. QSQM developed its Uncia DLP 3D printer and also improved the normal UV resin formula to visible-light curable formula.
The company's UV resins are available in a variety of colors - yellow, red, green, blue, violet, gray, etc.. For example Pl-1 resin has a high forming speed and is capable of creating high precision transparent parts. It is also suitable for post spraying painting processing, and has a good chemical and physical stability. And PL- 2 resin has good strength and toughness which is suitable for processing the products used for practical purposes.
QSQM has also developed Uncia Finish kit, a finishing kit with tools and accessories that lets users to clean the prints for final use.
QSQM is offering coupons ( ($100~$500) on Indiegogo. The retail price of Uncia (QS-1) DLP 3D printer is $999. You can purchase these coupons for $20~$100. Check for details here on Indiegogo.

Looks like they lifted Repetier-Host software before it went closed-course. >.<. Well, that's my fault for assuming they didn't license it.
