Columbus (OH)-based creative design company, Eclipse Corp. has invested in a Massivit 1800 3D Printing Solution to drive new business and differentiate its service offering against traditional print company competitors.

Commenting on the integration of large format 3D printing into the company’s operations, Jeff Burt, owner of Eclipse Corp., says: “The investment in the Massivit 1800 is set to transform our operation by allowing us to quickly create super-sized, captivating projects with the head-turning power that our customers, both current and new, demand.

“In fact, with the power to add a new and competitive dimension to our business, we anticipate that the Massivit 1800 will play an integral role in achieving an increased revenue of $1 million or more within the next three years,” he adds.

In addition to supporting projects in existing sectors, including retail, interior design and event and exhibition, the company aims to employ the Massivit 1800 3D Printing Solution for high-endurance thermoforming applications. These include visually-striking 3D vehicle wraps, attention-grabbing bus graphics, customer-engaging retail signage along with dramatic set designs and backdrops.

Beyond this, Eclipse Corp. will also establish itself as a large format 3D printing service bureau. Burt explains: “As one of a handful of companies with the capability to 3D print attention-grabbing large format applications, we want to ensure that our customers can benefit from the technology’s full potential whatever their requirements. With the ability to transform virtually any concept to large-scale life, we envisage this new service will pave the way into new markets.”

Judith Vandsburger, North American Director of Sales for Massivit 3D, concludes: “Eclipse Corp. is a prime example of how traditional print companies who are willing to leave their comfort zone and integrate pioneering technologies, can inject new levels of creativity that ignite interest and accelerate action among their customers’ target audiences.”
