More and more companies think on 3D printed concept models as smart marketing tools for innovative promotion campaigns. To help promote their latest album 'After the Disco' released on February 4, Broken Bells, an American indie rock band consisting of all-star producer Brian Burton (also known as Danger Mouse) and The Shins' James Mercer is offering fans the ability to 3D print their own Broken Bells models for free.
The band has just released two sets of 3D printing blueprints for Broken Bells themed models on its website. The first is the signature pointy pink orb featured on the cover of both of the band's album, the second is the spacegirl played by Kate Mara which represents the bands new album 'After The Disco'.
Fans are invited to download the blueprints and print their own Broken Bells models. If you do not own a 3D printer, you still have a chance to win one of the models. Email your contact information to CoCreateBrokenBells@gmail.com. Fast Company, Broken Bells' contest partner, is giving away a few 3D printed Broken Bells models for free.
