3D printing community marketplace Pinshape announces today that it has teamed with Amazon so everyone can browse through a selection of cool designs from Pinshape's designers, directly on the world's leading eCommerce platform.

All designs post on Amazon will be sold as physical objects, printed on demand and shipped directly to the customer. Pinshape says will be selecting designs they think are interesting, unique and represent a wide range of categories.

Pinshape also announces today the 3D Printed Kids' Toys Design Challenge together with a few 3D industry partners. The contest runs from June 25 to August 1, and Pinshape will donate 3D printed versions of the top toys to the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.

The top prize includes:

- Toy Printed and given to the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital
- A Cintiq13 HD from Wacom
- 1 License of ZBrush software from Pixologic
- 1 Year of Pro Rendering from Clara.io
- 3 Month subscription from Digital-Tutors
- $100 of printing credit from Sculpteo
- $250 of printing credit from Pinshape
- Toy listed on Pinshape's Amazon.com store
