Announced last month, Fire is the first smartphone designed by Amazon. The Fire Phone hits stores today. As expected, no Google services are available on the Fire Phone and dozens of key apps are missing from the Amazon App store. But for anyone interested in 3D printing models, Amazon has got the first 3D printing related app on Amazon Appstore.

3D printing marketplace Threeding today announced the availability of its app on the Amazon Appstore, accessible to all Amazon Fire Phone users. Threeding Fire Phone app is based on the existing Threeding Android app. Similar to it, the app for Fire Phone is fully synchronized with the web version and all models are available simultaneously.

The app is designed to allow users to easily search and explore all 3D printing models available at Threeding even when on the go. Users can purchase or download 3D printing models via a link in the app. Uploading of 3D printing models will remain only on web. Threeding will upgrade its Fire Phone App gradually to include the remaining web functionalities.

"We are very excited about the introduction of Amazon Fire Phone and we expect Amazon quickly to gain a large market share in the market of high-end smartphone, currently led by Apple and Samsung. That's why we have our app available on the day the phone was released", said Stan Partalev, Co-founder of Threeding.com.

The development of Threeding Android App was led by one of Threeding.com co-founders Philip Philipov and his team from Whiz.bg. "I am glad that we managed to react quickly and on the day of Fire Phone release we can offer Threeding App at Amazon Appstore", commented Philip.

The app is available for download for free on Amazon Appstore.

Coming soon: App for Apple iOS is on its way
Threeding will launch App for Apple iOS in the next month. Threeding iOS app will have the same features as the Android apps. The application has been intensively tested and its launch will follow very soon.
