In two months from now, the inaugural edition of a 3D printing event will be held in Warsaw, Poland, at the Warsaw University of Technology. The '3D Show – Printer & Scanner 2014' will open on the 21st of November, and will last for two days.

It has been organized by the 'Association of New Technologies' and the 'Scientific Circle Computer Science' of Warsaw's University of Technology. Funds have been provided by, amongst others, the University and Ministry of Economy. It's line-up will feature a number of companies from the Polish 3D printing community, alongside a number of companies interested in entering the 3D printing scanning industry. Other sponsors and media partners will also be present.

Seeing the huge interest and demand among potential customers for 3D printers and 3D scanners, especially in the scientific, academic and industrial sectors, the organizers decided to organize a gathering of the producers and distributors of these devices, alongside companies offering 3D printing services and of course the potential customers. It is a unique opportunity to present 3D printing technology to a huge crowd of visitors – students and residents of the Poland's capital.

Included in the programme are:

• presentations of Polish leaders from the 3D printer & scanner industries,
• lectures by independent experts,
• a Business Conference,
• an educational symposium and a number of workshops,
• presentations by Polish start-ups,
• an online gallery of art and fashion,
• various competitions and presentations.

The event is primarily aimed at:

• business representatives interested in the development of technology,
• companies from the 3D industry seeking new solutions and capabilities
• designers,
• researchers, graduate students, students,
• 3D printers enthusiasts.
