Airwolf 3D announced a new partnership with MatterHackers, Inc. that will see customers of Airwolf 3D's printers provided with a free, fully-supported, version of MatterControl Pro. In addition to providing an all-in-one 3D printing interface, MatterControl Pro comes also with full phone and email support.

Created by MatterHackers, Inc., MatterControl is a free app that allows you to organize your existing part files and helps manage the process of printing those parts on a 3D printer. It communicates with your 3D printer, sending it the instructions needed to make your part. It allows users to queue multiple parts for printing without pre-slicing, as well as integrating a library that enables users to organize and search their design files. The latest release of MatterControl (version 0.9.0) adds software-based, automatic bed-leveling and height calibration as an optional new feature, so you no longer have to rely on adjusting small screws, or trying to use pressure gauges to get your bed perfectly level.

"With MatterControl the entire process is simple, you can literally drag and drop your 3D designs and then hit 'start'." said Erick Wolf, Airwolf 3D's President.

Beginning immediately, customers of both XL and 5.5 model Airwolf 3D printers will receive access to MatterControl Pro. Customers who purchased an Airwolf 3D printer previously will be able to download their copy of MatterControl from the Airwolf 3D website.

To meet increasing demand for its products Airwolf 3D recently moved to a 5,200 square foot building in Costa Mesa that includes a factory showroom, conference and training room, warehouse with manufacturing and packaging stations, and offices. Airwolf 3D is inviting its customers and colleagues to join in the celebration of this major expansion.

Airwolf 3D will hold a festive open house and ribbon cutting on Friday, September 27th from 5:30p.m.-7:00p.m. The evening's activities will also include behind the scene tours of the facility and opportunities to meet and chat with the employees.
