Aleph Objects, Inc. announces a bigger and better 3D printer today: Lulzbot TAZ. "It is LulzBot's top-of-the-line, highest quality printer to date." claims the company.
According to Aleph Objects, TAZ prints fine layer heights between 0.075mm to 0.35mm, at speeds of 200mm/sec. You can print with more materials, ABS, PLA, PVA, high-impact polystyrene, and wood filament. And with add-ons, you can print with nylon and polycarbonate.

I've been waiting for this to release for a while. My AO-101 has been reliable as heck, so I expect similar from the (horribly named) Taz. I'm hoping that in a few months they'll release a dual-extruder version, as they've certainly got the build volume for it. Similarly, I wouldn't mind paying extra for some fan mounts to cool my PLA faster - if I'm printing at 200mm/sec, there's not much time for each layer to cool before the next one, and letting the slicer slow me down seems like a waste if the printer's capable of more.
