To help make 3D printing more accessible, Autodesk has announced that Spark, its open 3D printing platform, has been embedded into Windows 10. With access to Spark, Windows users worldwide will have an optimized 3D printing experiences directly within Windows 10 that simplifies the 3D printing process from design to fabrication. On top of that, Autodesk will also make Spark APIs available to the Microsoft developer community for free, empowering them to develop Windows 10 apps and further extending the reach and growth of the 3D printing industry.
"There's a crucial need to align software and 3D printing hardware to support the needs of modern 3D printing for our global community of users and developers," said Steve Guggenheimer, Corporate Vice President of Developer Platform & Evangelism and Chief Evangelist for Microsoft. "Teaming up with Autodesk will help fully unlock the capabilities of 3D printing, streamlining the end-to-end process."
"Autodesk is dedicated to improving the 3D printing industry in a collaborative way, making the technology easier and more accessible to businesses and individuals alike," said Samir Hanna, vice president and general manager, Consumer and 3D Printing, Autodesk. "By optimizing the Spark 3D printing platform for Windows 10, we are empowering both Windows users and Microsoft developers to tap the potential of additive manufacturing."

''has been embedded into Windows 10''.. I have searched in Windows 10, not a trace of Spark or Autodesk to be found. This was he same with PP3DP printers, still not recognized by my Windows. These news posts are nice but not correct.. Even at the Spark website I couldn't find info about Windows 10. Could anybody explain or does 3Ders have more info?
