Named as X400 CE, the Jumbo 3D printer X400 from German RepRap is now available as an assembled device with CE certification according to DIN ISO 9001.

The CE marking is a mandatory conformity marking for products sold in the European Economic Area. Due to operational safety reasons medium-sized and large enterprises often stick to buying DIN ISO 9001 verified devices.

The CE verification of the assembled device certifies that the X400 CE 3D printer was manufactured, adjusted and tested in compliance with the DIN-ISO 9001 guidelines for quality management systems. The examination according to the relevant DIN guideline 10218-2 (robotic systems and integration) conduces to the operational safety.

All electronical components of X400 CE are compatible to the OpenSource RepRap software. With a layer thickness up to 0.1mm and a printing space of about 400 x 400 x 350 mm, models with a volume up to 56 liter may be printed.

The Direct-Drive-Extruder (1.75 or 3 mm), which is already integrated by default, enables the expansion by a second extruder and therefore, the printing with separate support material or with different materials or colors.

  • Layer thickness: up to 0.1mm
  • Printing space: 400 x 400 x 350 mm
  • Print volume: up to 56 liter
  • Printer size: 660 x 660 x 770 mm (D/W/H)
  • Weight: 40 kg

The printer is mounted on a stable aluminum frame. The whole printing space is protected by a case. A base with lots of storage space is available as an option. In addition, the printer may be equipped with a deformation free ceramics heated bed, if required.

The X400 is still available as a construction kit. With the optional acrylic case it can be assembled CE compliant as well.

The readily assembled Jumbo printer X400 CE is available at the special price of 3,499 EUR (excl. VAT) or 4,164.99 EUR incl. VAT.
